Returns & Refunds

At Mossy Creek Mushrooms, we stand behind the quality of the products we produce and ship. We want you to be confident in your purchase and understand our policies clearly. Below is our official policy regarding returns, replacements, and refunds.


Live Products (Mycelium, Spawn, and Cultures)

Due to the sensitive and perishable nature of living organisms, we do not offer refunds on any live products once they leave our facility. This includes:

  • Liquid culture syringes
  • Agar culture plates
  • Culture slants
  • Spawn blocks

Once shipped, these items are exposed to handling, storage, and environmental conditions outside of our control. As such, all sales of living items are final.

Replacements

We’re happy to offer a replacement if:

  • Your live product arrives clearly damaged, contaminated, or non-viable
  • You notify us within 48 hours of delivery, and
  • You provide clear photos of the issue (and the shipping box if damage occurred in transit)

Replacements are offered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.


Dry Goods and Non-Living Products

For non-living items (e.g., apparel, tools, non-perishable materials), we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unused
  • In original condition
  • In original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds (minus shipping) will be processed once the item is received and inspected.


Mentorships, Consultations, and Digital Services

All mentorship sessions, consulting services, and coaching programs are non-refundable once purchased. These services are time- and schedule-based, and your purchase secures your session.

If you’re unable to attend a scheduled mentorship, please contact us as early as possible to discuss rescheduling options.


Weather and Shipping Delays

We reserve the right to delay shipments of living products during extreme heat, cold, or other weather events that could harm viability.

While we ship using trusted carriers and pack carefully, we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by weather, carrier error, or events outside our control.


How to Request a Replacement

If your package arrives with a problem, email us within 48 hours at:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the product and packaging

We’ll review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.
