I remember the first time my husband made stroganoff. Not the boxed stuff, but real, legit stroganoff. I didn’t think I’d like it, because I had never liked the mixes that I had tried before, but it was delicious.

Over the years, it’s become a staple with our family, one thing we can count on all three of our kids eating without complaint. After I powdered some Comb Tooth mushrooms I was given, we thought they’d make a tasty addition to the recipe, and we were right.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds hamburger meat
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Comb Tooth
  • 22 oz Cream of mushroom soup (link to recipe post)
  • 2 bags egg noodles

Cook the diced onion and comb tooth with some seasonings until they start to soften. Add in the hamburger and brown it, then add in the Worcestershire sauce. Season with some more salt, pepper, and garlic. Once that is combined add in cream of mushroom soup and mix, adding more seasonings to taste. After boiling and draining the noodles, return them to the pot and pour in the sauce. Stir until well incorporated and enjoy.
