BS26 Blue Oyster *MCM Original*

$30.00$120.00

Description

The BS26 Blue Oyster is another great strain bred from Lambert’s 123 and Northspore’s Snow Oyster. It’s similar to the BS8, except instead of maturing to a brown cap with dark blue edges, the BS26 Blue Oyster matures with electric blue caps. This oyster is perfect for farmer’s markets or anywhere else you would want a jaw-dropping splash of color. Yields are great compared with most commercial blue oyster strains, with the added benefit of a better texture on the stems making more usable mushroom for every dollar your customer spends. Whatever your usage this oyster is sure to please.

***This strain is still considered early in its development in the commercial mushroom industry. As such it can express itself in ways differing from our pictures. This can mean anything from color expression to yields and can be caused by your room conditions, time of year, or even temperatures. As this strain is tested in various growing conditions over time, we will be able to give more accurate descriptions and better set expectations.***

Excellent Liquid Cultures!

I recently purchased Bs26, Elm z oyster, and a couple hericium LC's from Mossy Creek. I found that every one of them grew uniformly on agar and honestly had faster growth than all of our own cultures! They responded very well to oat spawn that I prepared following Andrew's 24hr no cook, soak method from a few years back. These cultures grow some beautiful fruits!

I was a returning customer that previously bought a Thor bagger from Mossy Creek. It also works very well as intended! I will be a returning customer time and time again!

Bs26 was strong and clean.

I always put LC to grain and a plate, in hopes that it's clean. The BS26 did not disappoint. Started grain on March 3rd, took to sub on 3/27. Looks great on the plate also, look forward to seeing fruits in the next month. Thank you Andrew and Sam.

Great genetics thus far

Fast colonizing of grain waiting for sub colonization now. Took to agar easily so I could save in my slants. Thanks Andrew. Someday I'll be mentored
