$30.00$120.00

Greetings esteemed colleagues and inquisitive minds! Look, peer closer, and prepare to be utterly enchanted! We present to you yet another fantastic find—The Pond Reishi! A fungal marvel discovered on a fallen tree steeped in a secluded pond. A Reishi with mycelial roots drawing essence from fern filled forests festooned with aquatic flora and cradled in the arms of mossy tendrils, challenging us with the arduous task of harvesting it via kayak expedition, and gifting our team with a victorious mycological masterpiece!

Can you fathom it? The polysaccharides, the triterpenoids—suffused with an eldritch vitality one can only dream of! A panacea for fragile immune systems! Supercharged with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory prowess, shaped like an artist’s palette, and exhibiting the iconic deep auburn that Reishi connoisseurs appreciate. This is not merely a fungal specimen, but a monument to the majesty of the natural world waiting to enrich your medicinal strain library.

Until our next marvelous discovery, fare thee well Mossbacks, and keep spawning culture!

Description

Appearance and Characteristics:

  • The Pond Reishi presents in a blistery and bubbly fashion, and continues to grow with a consistent and rich dark burgundy coloring throughout the entire fruiting body. As it reaches maturation, the edges blend and morph into a butterscotch yellow. The average yield is 1.5 lbs. Though these results may vary depending on personal preference for conk or antler formations. Conk formations are densely heavier and more shelf like. Antler formations create more volume and less weight, thus yielding an abundantly thin, spindly, and straw like harvest.
  • The growth patterns for reishi can easily be controlled by manipulating CO2 levels and fresh air exchange, it’s outer texture always maintaining a smooth and lackur like appearance in any form.
  • The smell of reishi is a mixture of woody musk and a strange sweetness reminiscent of decaying leaf litter. The texture is very woody in nature as well and is made more palatable dehydrated, steeped, and consumed as a tea.
  • Our MCM Original Pond Reishi has proven to be a lovely summer strain for us!
