Description
The DeRidder is a beautiful white large cluster oyster mushroom. A Mossy Creek Mushroom original it was found by a friend here in East Tennessee in the USA. We have cultivated and grown it ourselves many generations in the lab and recently to the delight of many of our local chefs we grew it in the grow rooms. This is a sturdy, delicious oyster with a great stable shelf life.
The liquid culture syringe is full of mycelium that has been grown in a liquid environment. However as opposed to growing on a solid substrate such as agar with Culture Plates. The liquid culture is in syringes filled with a mix of this growing mycelium and nutritious liquid. You can use them to inoculate for instance agar plates, grains, sterilized substrates, or even make more liquid culture of your own. Refrigerate any remaining product for use again at a later date.
- Each syringe comes with 10 cc’s of liquid culture.
- Which in our experience is enough to inoculate 5 X 5 lbs bags of sterilized grain.
