Golden Enoki mushrooms are a great benefit to many mushroom recipes. The umami that they add to dishes makes the dish really stand out.

- Which in our experience is enough to inoculate 5 X 5 lbs bags of sterilized grain.
- After that, you can store any extra in the fridge until you’re ready to use it.
You can grow enoki mushrooms in a jar, bag, on mushroom blocks made of a substrate consisting of sawdust and soy, or many other ways.
Liquid cultures are mycelium that grows in a liquid environment as opposed to growing on a solid substrate such as agar. Therefore, Liquid cultures are syringes filled with a mix of this growing mycelium and nutritious liquid. The liquid mushroom cultures can then be used to inoculate anything from agar plates, grains, sterilized substrates, or even more liquid culture.
The Golden Enoki is a prolific growing mushroom. We have had a great time growing these mushrooms and we highly recommend them to anyone wanting to give it a try!
